A leach pad is a structure used in mining to extract valuable metals from minerals through a process called leaching. AGV Group develops all stages of this process. From the initial extracted material, through pad construction with an impermeable base to prevent solution leakage, to material stacking and the construction of a drainage system that carries the solution to the processing plant where metals are extracted.

We have experts who study various technical and engineering factors required for site selection and ground stability. In pad design, we develop the sub-drainage system by installing perforated pipes to collect groundwater.

Regarding the lining, we ensure the placement of geomembrane to prevent leakages. For the over-lining, we add an additional layer to protect the geomembrane.

Once the ground is prepared and the pad is built, our experts monitor the drainage system and detect any potential leaks for efficient metal recovery.
